Hello! Today's outfit showcases me straying away from the pastel trend that I love oh so much, and instead, I celebrate the flamboyance of summer brights. Is blood orange a socially acceptable adjective? Is it pretentious? Oh well. Blood orange is a colour, and I love it!

I centred my outfit around this beautifully bright waterfall jacket from Forever21. You may recognise the cut from this post - I have it in black as well. I couldn't resist! I chose to emphasise the colour with the orange accents of my beloved Henry Holland bag and the soles of my little Zara booties. Of course a subtle orange lip with this outfit was a necessity.

The vibrancy of this outfit truly uplifted me. There is something 'zingy' about orange that I find energising - it acts as my perfect weapon of choice on those days when I just need to get up and go.

It was only once I started uploading these pictures that I realised the straps f my top are visible! Apologies! A bright jacket is great for injecting an outfit with colour, vibrancy and those summer vibes!
