Monochromance

If you're familiar with my blog, you'll know that that I am a big fan of clashing prints. I love mixing up patterns and prints that 'aren't supposed to go together'. This season, I've also fallen in love with the monochromatic look. The outcome? This outfit!
 
 

Let's ignore the fact that I look about 2" shorter and 10 burgers heavier. Let's ignore my seemingly stumpy legs in these pictures...

I couldn't bear to leave this look without a pop of colour - thus, I wore these electric blue brogues! Although I am a fan of the monochrome, I felt naked without a dash of colour. It seems this monochrome trend has really got me by the neck! During a (much needed) retail therapy trip, I found myself drooling with lust at almost every monochrome item. Ok, slight exaggeration, but I really really love this trend. Here are some highstreet faves of mine:

I'm definitely going to have to go back to H&M and buy those anklet platforms! They have so many lovely shoes at the moment! Which items do you like the most?
