Designer of the Week!

So I've decided that every Sunday I will post my favourite looks, collections and designers to break the monotony of my outfit posts. I feel like I need an amazing alliterated name for these Sundays: Super Sunday? Showcase Sunday? Sunday Style... yeh, I'm not feeling very creative. I'll figure out a name next week.

Ok, so today is the debut for Super Sunday or whatever I decide to call it! I'm going to start off with a BANG and post my *drumroll please* designer of the week! Yay! *cheers and claps*

This week it is the mighty Henry Holland! I'm currently obsessed with the House of Holland collection , and here are a few of my favourite looks:

Again, my photos are deciding to malfunction

 Shame on me for not blogging for the last 3 days! I really did go the whole weekend without taking a single photo, and for this I apologise. However, I do have wishlist pictures clogging up my laptop, so I'll share those with you instead:

Jason Wu... Mr Wu... Jason... Jay... oh how I love thee. I think it's time I made the declaration: Jason Wu is my favourite designer at the moment. Here are some of my favourite pieces from recent collections...

 
 I adore his use of leather, and the accentuated waistline. His designs are so elegant, with an edgy twist. Love love love!

I think it's safe to say that the only time I will be able to afford more than one of his masterpieces is when I'm living in this Paris apartment as a journalist turned stylist.

A girl can dream, right?




Now, I am a MASSIVE fan of Miu Miu, and I can't get enough of these amazing asses. Very Beyoncesque.

 





















These round lenses are definitely a needed asset to my wardrobe.

The inconvenience of illness

With looming coursework deadlines and stacks of half attempted homework, my body decided that now was the time to contract an illness. Very inconvenient. This means no outfit posts from the last two days - unless you really want to see my Disney Pyjamas..

I do have some supercool thing to show you though! Last Saturday I went to a Shoe Museum in Northampton and came across some really creative designs. There were some amazing clear Docs by Red or Dead and a collection of Creepers from various decades. Of all the shoes, my favourite was a pair called 'Flamingo' by freelance designer, Kobi Levi.

I love the way the symbolic on-legged pose of the Flamingo is incorporated into the stiletto heel to create an elegant look.
