Provence Rose

Hello there! For this week's 'of the week' post, I thought I'd show you something a little different. I guess you can call it 'interiors of the week'. In the same way I'm interested in styling myself and others, I'm also a sucker for interior design and furnishings. My mother is mad about home décor, so it's rather unsurprising that I've recently found myself drifting round Dunelm Mill for hours on end.

I'm utterly obsessed with pastel kitchens at the moment. Anything cute and girly for the kitchen has become a must. It's actually getting really bad, as I refuse to drink from anything other than a glass bottle (with straw and ribbon, of course). As cute as that may sound, I would not recommend. Highly addictive. It's also rather embarrassing when you have to explain to visitors that yes, the heart shaped plates are yours.

Here are some lovely items that I've spotted online, and I must warn you, the dainty pastel-coloured cuteness may just cause over excitement.

I adore this style, as shamefully and sickeningly girly as it seems. If I had my way, cupcakes would be on the menu all day, every day - served on delicate floral saucers with matching napkins. Bit much? The obsession began moths ago, but what catalysed this pastel plague was the discovery of the beautiful bog: PassionForBaking. Manuela, the writer, bakes gorgeous goodies and presents them in the most adorable style. Cute!
