Melodic, Thrifty and Chic is easily one of my favourite blogs.
Run by Anna, the blog features her quirky ensembles which are both fun and inspiring! What's not to love about her geek-chic fusion and individual style? With such similar styles, I feel we have a mutual understanding of each other, and I must say, I have not disregarded the possibility that she may be my long lost sister...

So, here she is, with a post on her October favourites:

Layers, layers, layers:
The more complex, the better. The colder it gets the more layers I wear, though it's really just an excuse at this point. I layer every chance I can get. ^_^
 

 

Yellow:

It's a classic Fall color and I'm obsessed with all shades of that hue. It doesn't matter what the garment is. If it's yellow, I'll wear it!

 

 

Colorful prints:

As Winter makes its dark descent, people tend to wear neutral tones like black and grey. Even though the leaves are dying and the trees will be bare, it doesn't mean your style has to be lifeless as well! I love seeing people shake things up with incredibly colorful ensembles during the Winter months. Even if it's just a little splash of color, it's worth it! In the photos below, I basically show that you can have your blacks and greys, but also your crazy colors, too. :D
