Half Term Hype

My last blog post was over a week ago. Over a week ago. Sorry.
I have a few OOTDs to show you guys, but I'll post them later in the week. For now, I'll show you a few pictures of what I spent my half term/spring break doing!

I've got glasses! This is the moment when I have to admit that the glorious spectacles I'm rocking in my profile picture are in fact a £5, clear lensed pair from Punkyfish. Don't judge me! However, I do actually need real glasses, and when I saw these Gok Wan frames, I may have fangirled in front of my optician. Can you blame me?

Of course, I shamelessly indulged in numerous shopping sprees during my 2 weeks off. Prom is coming up soon, and I did try on various dresses. Exciting!

This dress is from Zara, and I fell in love with the style AND the price. At just £50, I thought this dress would be perfect my prom - renamed 'Summer Ball'. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't as snug as it appears in the pictures. I decided not to buy it, but I am so tempted to go back and purchase it and get it altered ready for prom! What do you guys think? Do you like it?

Here are a few things I bought (I was pretty good and barely bought a thing!) ;)

I lovelovelove these jeans from Uniqlo! They have a store on Oxford Street in London, which I had never been to before. Intrigued by the nicely styled window displays and lights, I went inside. Little did I know I'd fall in love with the store and lust for almost every item in stock! It's a great brand, and I'm so glad I found it! If you're a 'kool kid', then it's the shop for you.

I also took advantage of the HMV sale, and bought some tooones! However, they didn't have the Friendly Fires album I've been looking for for aaaages *sigh*

^ One of the best iced buns I've had in all my 17 years of bun tasting ^

Ah, I'm a bit or a Transformers loser, so when I saw that Optimus Prime was at Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, I screamed!

My family are pretty obsessed with country parks, public lakes and general outdoorsy activities. It's not all about city lights in the concrete jungle!
