Monday blues and a lil giveaway

Mondays are never easy. The dread of the week ahead seems to poison the air, and the Monday blues is infectious. After a weekend of freedom and endless procrastination, you are forced to get up and carry out those monotonous, mundane tasks day-in day-out for five whole days. We all hate Mondays.

 

Rather than rolling in a pool of self pity, as I do every Monday morning, this week I decided to get my act together. Monday's aren't all bad. It's a new start. A fresh start. I surprised myself by how much that little thought motivated me to get up and go. Just get up and go.

This week I thought I'd try something a little different with my nails. I bought I matte white by BarryM, which is a massive contrast to my usual reds and blues. It's hardly an act of eccentricity, but it was fun to wear something different and create a bold contrast.

 

Practicality isn't exactly a priority when it comes to my clothing choices. However, this bag purchased from Camden Market (as per) is actually the only one I own that fits all my uni folders inside. Hallelujah. I love the versatility of the colour and I'm so glad I bought it! Of course I had to pair it with my new silk Camden shirt.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In my last post I mentioned that I'd reached 100 GFC followers. I'm so thankful to anyone who even bothers to read my incoherent babbles, let alone actually follow me. As a little thank you (very little), I've decided to host a giveaway (I said very little, don't get your hopes up).

 

 

 

 

Since the beginning of winter, I've had 'Yankee candle fever'. I kitted out my bedroom with the sweetest scents, so thought it would be nice to give away one of my favourites. 'Beach Flowers' by Yankee Candle is lovely and relaxing and I adore having my bath covered in rose petals and tea lights. I can't be the only one.
