In an attempt to improve this wee little blog of mine, I've come up with a posting schedule. I know that many of you hard-core and professional bloggers plan and prepare posts meticulously, and will find it somewhat blasphemous that I don't. Personally, I believe that blogging should be fun and spontaneous. However, when it comes down to it, I feel I post sporadically which ultimately means that I don't get to share even half of the exciting material I intend to. The root cause of the problem is my ditsy/forgetful nature. Grr. So, I figured the best way to tackle this would be to organise my blog. Now, let's not get ahead of ourselves; it will hardly make a difference to you, lovely reader - but I thought I'd just let you know what you can look forward to.
Mondays will be dedicated to an 'Of The Week' series. This will include:
- Collection OTW
- Fashpo OTW
This will enable me to rant about brands and trends that I'm currently obsessed with, and eventually I might branch off into products, purchases and bloggers of the week.
Thursdays and Saturdays will feature my usual 'Outfit Of the Day' posts and awkward selfies. I might also chuck in a post on Wednesdays if I'm feeling particularly antisocial.
So, since it's Monday, I might as well kick the new schedule off with a Collection of the Week post!
The brand was founded in Seoul, Korea in 2009 and this collection is easily one of my favourites of the summer. Overall, the three Korean designers have opted for edgy pieces in versatile colours, paired with simple garments in order to create an understated look with modern details. I adore the oversized sleeves and use of mesh and cutouts. There is something about this collection that screams sports-luxe, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the white button up shirts that remind me of tennis, or the loose knee length shorts. I love the little running motif throughout his collection: chic sheer socks. I've also spotted the sheer sock trend at Sonia Rykiel and Topshop are selling such a cute alternative! I could talk about this collection forever, but I think this post is quite long enough!
What do you think of his collection? Favourite pieces?
